Because of its consistent, traditional Northern Italian food, this formal, well-loved restaurant has been around for 14 years. There are oversized 30s-style Italian posters on the dining room walls, and it regularly fills up with a mature, business crowd. The seafood salad, tagliatelle with venison sauce, and pasta with shiitake mushrooms, shrimp and tomatoes are all top drawer. Other than that, there`s grilled Cornish game hen, aged prime strip steak, sauteed chicken livers with onions, and mixed seafood simmered in a tomato-basil sauce. It`s a classic New York experience.
Stop in Lusardi`s for a restaurant that serves up an Italian cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost $12 to $20, and dress casual.
